Abstract

1,077,775. Electric bottle heaters. A. W. A. FRAZER. Oct. 19, 1964 [Nov. 4, 1963], No. 42511/64. Heading H5H. A baby's bottle warmer is steam heated by an electrode boiler, and comprises a heat resistant plastic container having an upper compartment 12 adapted to hold a charge of water which is released into the lower chamber 13 to submerge electrodes 16, 17, when a bottle is inserted and bears on the valve stem 34. The charge of water in the upper container is determined by a weir 38, any excess overflowing through a hole 37. The valve comprises a neoprene or silicone rubber disc normally closed as illustrated in Fig. 7 (not shown), but becoming "dished and opening when a bottle bears on the stem as in Fig. 8 (not shown).
