Abstract

1,060,658. Moulds. GEORGE ANGUS & CO. Ltd. Nov. 21, 1963 [Nov. 22, 1962], No. 46000/63. Heading B5A. A two-part mould 1, 2 having a taperedsection filling slot 3 is provided with a non- return valve formed of a strip of resilient material of wide angled V-shape, one limb 5 being let into an anchorage slit in the mould part 1 so that the other limb 6 spans the slot 3. When plastic material is injected or poured into the mould through a nozzle 4, the limb 6 is forced to position 6<SP>1</SP>. Expansion of the moulding material forces the limb 6 to close the filling slot. Fine air holes 7 are provided in the flap 6.
