Abstract

1,060,386. Valves. JUNKERS & CO. G.m.b.H. May 8, 1964 [May 11, 1963], No. 19183/64. Heading F2V. [Also in Division F1] The water fitting of a gas-fired continuous water heater has a water supply connection 11, Fig. 1, leading through passage 12 and flow regulator 17 to a high pressure chamber 13 separated from a low-pressure chamber 16 by a diaphragm 15. Water flow through passage 19 and Venturi 30 creates a vacuum in chamber 16 causing diaphragm 15 to regulate the gas valve (not described). The inner surface of the Venturi tube is radially outwardly stepped to the region of the suction ports. Passage 20 leads through a heat exchanger (not described) to passage 21, the temperature of flow through outlet connection 25 being adjusted by regulation of hot and cold taps 23, 24.
