Abstract

1,059,132. Photo-copying apparatus. R.A. GORDON. July 25, 1963 [Aug. 8, 1962; Dec. 14, 1962], No. 29567/63. Heading G2A. An original and a photo-sensitive sheet are placed in a flat tray and passed through an exposure station, after which the exposed sheet and a transfer sheet are passed through a developing bath and finally pressed together to effect the image transfer. The original is sandwiched between the photo-sensitive sheet (56) and the transfer sheet (57) as in Fig. 6 (not shown), placed in a flat tray (44) made of transparent material, and covered with a transparent plate (45). The tray is then slid through the apparatus so as to pass under a fluorescent lamp 38 where the exposure is made, being guided by a roller 29. The original is removed, and the exposed and transfer sheets inserted together but out of contact between guides 15, 16 into a bath of developer liquid. At the lowest point of their path the sheets come into contact, and are then guided upwards to pass between rollers 19, 19a, where the image transfer is effected.
