Abstract

104,644. Burridge, A. Oct. 10, 1916. Sheet-metal, leather, and like chains comprise links A having a transverse bar B at one end and a substantially triangular slot C at the other. The links are connected together by inserting the bars B in the slots C of adjacent links. In the case of leather, cardboard, and like links, the bars B are reinforced by bending a disk of sheet metal over the edge subject to wear.
