Abstract

The heald frames of a loom move in a guide 30 Fig. 2 (not shown) in a direction perpendicular to the warp and weft directions which guide is moved by a cam 22 in the direction of the warp threads, the resultant motion of the heddles being an arc about the fell of the fabric. A pin 36 may be inserted to hold the heald frames in their forward position so that they are not acted on by the cam 22.
