Baling-presses.- Apparatus for compressing loose fibrous materials, of the kind comprising a travelling feed-device and pairs of rollers, comprises an horizontal travelling lattice or apron A for feeding the material to the first of three or more pairs of horizontal rollers B, B<1>, C, C<1>, D, D<1> placed side by side, each pair being set closer than the preceding pair. The last pair may have means, such as a screw or lever, for adjusting their distance apart. A delivery table E is provided.
