1,039,611. Lattice beams. BROCKHOUSE STEEL STRUCTURES Ltd. Feb. 12, 1964 [Feb. 14, 1963], No. 5947/63. Heading E1K. The web of a lattice beam comprises separate bars 18 each bent at an angle to form a tension and compression member the bars at the ends of the beam having the tension member T longer than the compression member C. The other bars may be similar. The upper chord is of inverted T or inverted V cross-section and the lower chord of rectangular cross-section. The beam rests on stanchions by means of cross bars 13.
