[Also in Division F2] A controller for effecting through control elements movement of hydraulically or pneumatically operated devices in vehicles, more particularly for adjusting seats, has a manually-actuated rod 16 mounted by a universal joint 20, 21 in the housing 10 of the controller to adjust the control elements through forked members 17, 18, 19, two of which have forks 17<SP>1</SP>, 18<SP>1</SP> connected directly to the actuating rod while the third fork 19<SP>1</SP> is connected to the rod through a crank pin 23 and a crank arm 22. Rotation of the rod 16 about its own axis thus causes actuation of the member 19 while the angular displacements permitted by the universal joint cause actuation of one or both of the members 17, 18. The forked members are connected through adjustable screws 19<SP>111</SP> to valve member tappets 27, 28.
