Abstract

1,031,180. Rods for reinforcing concrete. A. BUGAN. Nov. 25, 1963 [Nov. 29, 1962], No. 46426/63. Heading E1K. A rod for reinforcing concrete comprises six longitudinal ribs 11-16 and is symmetrical about a longitudinal plane S-S passing through two opposite ribs 11 and 14, these two ribs having sides at an angle to the adjacent side of a circumscribing hexagon, greater than 30 degrees and the other four ribs 12, 13, 15, 16 each having one side fat an angle greater than 30 degrees, and the other side #<SP>1</SP> less than 30 degrees to the adjacent side of a circumscribing hexagon, cross ribs r dividing the grooves into alveoli. Modifications are shown with secondary ribs between the main ribs. The cross ribs may be at right angles or inclinded to the longitudinal ribs.
