Abstract
1,030,190. Liquid fuel burners. E. J. HALLIDAY. April 13, 1965, No. 15733/65. Heading F4T. A burner comprises a fuel supply tube 19 (Figs. not shown), having a tapered forward end 18, which is movable in a cylindrical passage 15 in an air nozzle 14 on the end of a cylindrical burner body to control the air flow, and a needle fuel control valve 30 threaded into a head 23 on the rear end of the fuel supply tube. The latter is moved by a sleeve 24 threaded on to the body of the burner and abutting the head 23. The fuel discharges through holes 21 in the tapered wall of the fuel tube.
