Abstract

1,027,925. Clutch control. H. TEVES, E. A. TEVES, and M. TAUSEND, [trading as ALFRED TEVES MASCHINENUND ARMATURENFABRIK KOMM.-GES.]. Oct. 26, 1964 [Dec. 6, 1963], No. 43536/64. Heading F2L. The release levers 9 of a disc clutch 8 are operated by an annular piston 5 connected to a pedal-operated slave cylinder 4, the piston carrying a ball-bearing 6 engaging the thrust ring 7 through an anti-friction ring 12. When the pedal is released the piston 5 retracts until the force of the clutch springs 11 is balanced by the pressure in the hydraulic system.
