1,020,751. Tape dispenser. A. S. L. OWENSMITH. Sept. 24, 1962 [Sept. 22, 1961], No. 34089/61. Heading A4G. [Also in Division B4] A device for dispensing tape or like material comprises a spool F rotatably mounted on a pin A extending through and securing together a pair of scissor blades X, tape withdrawn from the spool being turned through 90 degrees for severance by the scissor blades. The spool may have a cover with a slot through which the tape is withdrawn and in a modification the cutting blades are connected by a C-spring and an axle for receiving the spool provided on one of the blades.
