[Also in Division H2] A terminal clamp comprises a terminal block A with a hole in it into which a tube, rod, or electric cable conductor B is to be connected and secured by a securing screw C which screws into the terminal block with a clamping member F loosely attached to the end of the screw and a spring washer D positioned between the end of the screw and the clamping member so that the spring washer is compressed between the securing screw end and the clamping member when the securing screw is screwed into the terminal block to secure a tube, rod, or electric cable conductor to the terminal block. In one embodiment, Fig. 1, the washer D lies within a cup-shaped clamping member F whose wall is bent inwardly to engage the outwardly inclined wall of the screw. In further embodiments the washer D surrounds a rivet or screw by which the member F is secured to the screw C, the screw or rivet being slidable in a hole in the screw C or the clamping member being slidable on the screw or rivet.
