Abstract

1,018,978. Tent coverings. L. STROMEYER CO., G.m.b.H. April 11, 1963 [April 11, 1962], No. 14503/63. Heading E1A. A tent roof or wall consists of a plurality of unitary coverings A, B, C, D, of textile material each covering being in the form of four equal oblong parts 2, 3, 4, 5 arranged with their warp threads disposed as shown by the doubleheaded arrows in Fig. 1. The covering may be made of sail cloth covered by a transparent natural and/or synthetic resin material. The coverings are attached to columns 9 and tensioned by drain hoses 6 or guy ropes, see Fig. 3 (not shown). Each covering portion such as 1 may be made up of several interconnected strips, see Figs. 4 and 5 (not shown) whilst Fig. 6 (not shown), depicts a covering utilized as a wall.
