Abstract
1,015,437. Brassieres. TRIUMPH-UNIVERSA G.m.b.H. Nov. 20, 1964 [Nov. 20, 1963], No. 47301/64. Heading A3V. A brassiere has elastic shoulder straps 1 which cross at the centre front 4 and continue to the side seams 6, a triangular member 10 transversely extensible over at least part of its area being secured to the lower edge 8 of each cup and to its associated strap. The straps may converge to be secured at the centre of the back which comprises elastic panels 15 extending to the side seams 6 or to inextensible side inserts 17. A stiffening inlay 18 may be secured in the lower region of the cups, of uniform width or, as shown, extending at 19 up to a transverse seam 20 at the outer edges of the cups.
