Abstract

1,014,983. Nozzles. KIGASS Ltd. Oct. 5, 1964 [Oct. 3, 1963], No. 38894/63. Heading B2F. [Also in Division A4] A windscreen washer nozzle assembly comprises a thermosetting plastic body member 1, provided with a shank portion 2 extending through an aperture in the panel 18 of the vehicle, a generally semi-spherical head portion 3, and a spigot portion 4, a rubber sealing ring 12 located in a groove 11 and adapted to engage the upper surface of the panel, a generally spherical nozzle member 7 positioned in a recess in the head 3 and having a diametrical passage 8 terminating in a discharge orifice 9, and a spring-steel sleeve 13 mounted on the shank 2, said sleeve being provided with an outwardly turned lip at its upper end, an inwardly turned lip at its lower end, and therebetween a pair of diametrically opposed resilient fingers 17 which engage the lower surface of the panel.
