Abstract
1,012,705. Snap-action switches; thermal switches. HOOVER Ltd. Jan. 28, 1963 [Jan. 31, 1962], No. 3500/63. Addition to 979,800. Heading H2B. A snap-action switch as described in Specification 979,800, in which the bridges 36,48 of the spaced spring blades 11, 12 are rigidly connected, e.g. spot welded, together instead of being pivoted. In another embodiment, Figs. 4-7 (not shown), the inner limbs of the blades are also spot welded together. In a further embodiment, the blades may be formed from a single strip of material.
