The shaft e is fitted to work loosely in an elongated slot c through the handle a to permit the roller f to ride easily up the cam-surface and grip the rod. The arms d have lugs for moving the roller f. The wrench head and opening b may be in two hinged parts. The shaft e may be integral with one arm d, and the other arm d attached to it by a countersunk screw.
