1,011,420. Windscreen cleaning systems. FORD MOTOR CO. Ltd. May 20, 1964 [May 23, 1963], No. 20555/63. Heading A4F. Washing liquid is pumped from a reservoir (not shown) via a pipe 13 and a conduit 13 in the wiper spindle 5 to a pipe 19 leading to a longitudinally extending passage 21, Fig. 3, in a U-section wiper blade 7 to be discharged through perforations 25 into the space between the wiping lips 23. Alternatively the pipe 19 may be connected to the middle of the passage 21.
