Abstract

1,010,632. Road traffic signs. T. WADA. Oct. 13, 1961 [Oct. 17, 1960; April 17, 1961; June 6, 1961], No. 36789/61. Heading E1G. [Also in Division F4] A hand-signalling devicefor road traffic purposes comprises a bulb 1 mounted in a bulbholder 5 secured to a plate 3 of resinous material by an adhesive layer 6. The bulb is protected by a cover 7 of resinous material or glass which is fixed to a glove 4 by a plastic ring 8. The glove also incorporates a switch 12 and a battery holder, see Fig. 2 (not shown). The device may incorporate two bulbs of different colours and selective switching means therefore, see Figs. 4, 5 and 6 (not shown). Again, the bulb may be mounted on one limb of a U-shaped clip, the battery on the other limb and the switch on the intermediate portion, see Figs. 7, 8 and 9 (not shown).
