In a rake-wheel type of haymaking machine the machine frame includes two beams 41, 42 having parts which extend vertically and terminate in substantially horizontal portions which extend rearwardly from the front of the implement at a level above that of the uppermost regions of the rake-wheels 61, the vertical parts having means 46, 50 for connection to tractor hitch-links 84, 86, a further framebeam 53 being connected to the rearmost ends of the beams 41, 42, this beam being inclined to the direction of travel and carrying the rake-wheels 61. The ends 56, 57 of the beam 53 are downturned and terminate in further arms 69, 76 carrying caster wheels 74, 82; intermediate arms 58, 59 attached to the beam 53 also carry rakewheels 61. The rake-wheels are all individually adjustable so that they can extend perpendicularly to the beam 53 (Fig. 1) for tedding, or nearly parallel thereto (Fig. 4, not shown) for sidedelivery, the beam itself being adjustable about a vertical pivot 52 for this purpose.
