A vehicle has an outer shell 1 surrounding an inner tank 2, brackets 4 secured to the tank 2 being supported by resilient pads carried on a ledge 3 secured to the shell, fore and aft movement of the tank being controlled by links 6 universally jointed at their ends. Transverse resilient buffers 7 are provided at the rear of the tank.
