Abstract

1,007,521. Wall contruction. F. D. WARNER. Aug. 23, 1961 [May 23, 1960], Nos. 18033/60 and 20315/61. Heading E1V. A wall is formed of spaced channel-shaped concrete shuttering components 11 the open sides of which are closed by concrete sheets 10 having tie wires 12 moulded therein at opposite sides, the ends of the wires protruding on the inner face of the sheet, one of the ends of each wire being passed around the component 11 and joined to the end of a like wire on the adjacent sheet to secure the sheets 10 to the components 11, and the other end protruding into the channel of the component 11 so that it becomes embedded in concrete poured into the channel to form a column. The shuttering components 11 and the concrete sheets may be made from high alumina cement.
