Abstract

1,006,972. Collapsible buildings. D. HALLIDAY. March 12, 1963 [March 20, 1962], No. 10654/62. Heading E1A. A portable folding hut consists of four rigid walls hinged together, one pair of opposed walls 2 being each made in two parts hinged together at 3. The hut includes a folding roof 7, door 10, a hinged flap 12 for a window 11 and triangular gable ends 5 hinged to end panels 2. The walls and roof may be made of varnished marine plywood and lined with foam plastic, sealing strips being carried by the various members on the opposite side to that of the hinges. Alternatively the walls and roof may be made of frames covered with canvas plastic or metal.
