Abstract

A drawing appliance comprises a rightangled set-square 1 which carries for rotation relative thereto about the median point of its hypotensive a potractor 2 having a part circular edge marked with a scale of degrees 3 readable against marks 4, 5 on the set-square 1, and a straight edge which in normal position is coincident with the hypotensive edge of the set-square. The protractor 2 is located in a cut-out portion of the square 1 so that it is co-planar therewith and is carried by a bridge-piece 7 on pivot means having a clamping head 9 to hold the potractor in an angularly adjusted position. The protractor may be provided with an extension 6 with parallel edges, the square 1 and protractor being of transparent plastics material and the edges of the square and the extension 6 being suitably bevelled. If the extension 6 is not provided the protractor 2 may be rotated in either direction from its normal position.
