Abstract

1,004,331. Transistor oscillator circuits. ERICSSON TELEPHONES Ltd. March 20, 1963 [Jan. 22, 1962], No. 2204/62. Heading H3T. [Also in Division H2] A transistor power oscillator 10 includes means for shutting down the oscillator in response to an increase in oscillation frequency. As described, the means is a series resonant circuit comprising a capacitor 17 and a relay A, the resonant frequency of the circuit being higher than the frequency of oscillation of the oscillator. If the load 16 increases the oscillation frequency and hence the current through relay A, increases until relay A operates, releasing relay B to disconnect the supply to the oscillator, and also operating an alarm (not shown). Power may be restored by actuation of key 24 to re-energize relay B.
