Véhicule automobile comportant une batterie électrique (2), et un support métallique (14) disposé à plat au-dessus de cette batterie (2) suivant la direction verticale du véhicule, présentant un bord avant (16) qui est disposé par rapport au sens avant de marche du véhicule, en arrière d'une borne de connexion (4) de la batterie (2) couverte par un capot de protection (6), le support métallique (14) comportant en arrière de la borne (4) une protection isolante (20) couvrant le bord avant (16) de ce support (14), le dessous de cette protection (20) présentant une surface inclinée (28) qui remonte vers l’avant, en permettant lors d’un recul du capot de protection (6) de le glisser sous la protection isolante (20).
