Abstract

L’invention concerne un appareil (1) de projection d’images destiné à afficher une image (28) et comportant : - une unité de génération d’images (8) émettant un faisceau lumineux (11) déterminé en fonction de l’image à afficher ; - une unité de pilotage (9) ; et - un système optique (10) comprenant un ensemble optique de puissance (12, 13) formant l’image, à partir du faisceau lumineux émis et un dispositif optique de correction (14) de front d’onde corrigeant au moins partiellement des aberrations optiques dans l’image formée, le dispositif optique étant commandé par l’unité de pilotage pour modifier une partie au moins d’un front d’onde du faisceau lumineux. Selon l’invention, l’unité de pilotage est configurée pour : - déterminer dans l’image à afficher une ou plusieurs zones d’intérêt (28A, 28G, 28H), chaque zone d’intérêt de l’image ayant une position de zone et une taille de zone ; et - commander le dispositif optique en fonction de la ou les positions et tailles de zones déterminées.
