Dispositif de réglage de la longueur d'assise d’un siège d'automobile, et siège comportant un tel dispositif L’invention concerne un dispositif de réglage de la longueur d’assise d’un siège de véhicule automobile, comportant une traverse avant d’assise (10’) formant l’un des éléments constitutifs de l’armature d’assise dudit siège, au moins un plateau (20, 30) apte à porter un nez d’assise et disposé au dessus de ladite traverse avant (10’) en étant monté mobile à coulissement longitudinal vis-à-vis de cette dernière par l’intermédiaire de moyens de guidage (21, 31), ainsi que des moyens d’entrainement (23’, 25’, 26, 35’, 36, 40, 41) gérant le coulissement du au moins dit plateau (20, 30) par rapport à ladite traverse (10) ; caractérisé en ce qu’il comporte deux dits plateaux latéraux (20, 30) agencés de part et d’autre du plan longitudinal vertical médian de ladite traverse (10), lesdits moyens d’entrainement étant configurés de sorte à permettre un réglage indépendant de la position longitudinale de chacun des dits plateaux (20, 30).
