Appareil pour le traitement du linge à la vapeur comportant un outil (3) de repassage et/ou défroissage et un dispositif support (8) pour poser l’outil (3) de manière stable dans une position de rangement lors des phases inactives de repassage et/ou défroissage, ledit outil (3) comprenant une surface de traitement (30), munie d’au moins un trou (30A) pour l'émission de la vapeur, surmontée d’un corps comportant une poignée (31), caractérisé en ce que l’outil (3) est maintenu dans la position de rangement par l’insertion d’un doigt de maintien (84), avantageusement porté par le dispositif support (8), dans une ouverture (33), avantageusement ménagée sur le corps de l’outil (3). - Figure pour l’abrégé : Fig 1
