Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de détection d'un colmatage d'un filtre à air comportant les étapes suivantes lorsque la section de passage d'air dans une tubulure d'admission est supérieure à une section de passage prédéterminée : - mesure d'une pression dans la tubulure d'admission en fin d'une phase d'admission d'air dans un cylindre, - mesure d'une pression dans la tubulure d'admission en fin de phase d'échappement dans un cylindre, - détermination du colmatage du filtre à air selon une comparaison faite entre, d'une part, au moins une pression mesurée au cours d'au moins une mesure de pression en fin de phase d'admission d'air dans un cylindre et, d'autre part, au moins une pression mesurée au cours d'au moins une mesure de pression en fin de phase d'échappement, le filtre étant estimé colmaté lorsque la comparaison donne une valeur supérieure à une valeur prédéterminée.
