Cet essieu (44) pour train non moteur (10) de véhicule automobile (2) comprend un élément structurel doté d'un moyen de fixation pour connecter mécaniquement l'élément structurel avec un porte-fusée (28, 30) du train non moteur (10) de véhicule automobile (2) en permettant un degré de liberté en rotation autour d'un axe de braquage (23, 24) du porte-fusée (28, 30). Cet essieu (44) comprend un actionneur solidaire de l'élément structurel, l'actionneur étant apte à être connecté mécaniquement avec le porte-fusée (28, 30) et configuré pour entrainer le porte-fusée (28, 30) en rotation par rapport à l'élément structurel autour de l'axe de braquage (23, 24) lorsqu'il est connecté mécaniquement avec le porte-fusée (28, 30).
