L'invention concerne un procédé pour sécuriser une méthode de détection par ressuage ou magnétoscopie d'une discontinuité de matière dans un objet (S), se caractérisant par le fait que : - le procédé comprenant une étape consistant à identifier l'objet (S) en installant un support (1) à proximité dudit objet, lequel support intègre un identifiant unique lisible à distance par un terminal mobile de lecture (3), - une lecture de l'identifiant unique par le terminal mobile de lecture (3), est nécessaire pour mettre en œuvre la méthode de détection.
