Abstract

Pour repérer des points ou lignes d'intérêt A, B, C, D sur une voie ferrée 22, à l'aide d'un système de repérage ferroviaire 12 comportant une caméra linéaire 26 et un odomètre 28 progressant sur la voie ferrée 22 dans un sens de progression 100, on acquiert de façon répétitive, avec l'odomètre 28, des données de positionnement instantané de la caméra linéaire 26 par rapport à la voie ferrée 22 dans le sens de progression 100, et l'on acquiert de façon répétitive, avec la caméra linéaire 26 visant la voie ferrée 22, des données optiques linéaires instantanées le long d'une ligne de mesure instantanée 50. Puis, par traitement au moins des données optiques linéaires instantanées et des données de positionnement instantané, on construit une image matricielle d'une zone de la surface de la voie ferrée 22, et l'on identifie, dans l'image matricielle, au moins une balise d'indexation spatiale 56 de signature prédéterminée et son positionnement relativement à un rail de référence 22A de la voie ferrée 22. On identifie les points ou lignes d'intérêt A, B, C, D dans l'image matricielle, et on détermine des coordonnées des points ou lignes d'intérêt dans un référentiel bidimensionnel O, x, y de repérage lié à la balise d'indexation spatiale 56 et à la ligne de référence 22A.
