Le procédé de démarrage à froid d'un moteur à combustion interne comprend : - une étape (103) d'activation d'un démarreur procurant un premier couple, - une étape (106) d'activation d'un alternodémarreur procurant un deuxième couple de manière à ajouter le deuxième couple au premier couple pour démarrer ledit moteur à combustion interne, et - une étape (102) d'initialisation d'un critère assurant de ne pas exécuter ladite étape (106) d'activation de l'alternodémarreur avant ladite étape (103) d'activation du démarreur.
