L'invention concerne un moyeu (24) d'hélice propulsive de turbomachine, en particulier d'aéronef, comportant une paroi (24) sensiblement annulaire d'axe A et comprenant des moyens de montage de pales de ladite hélice répartis angulairement de manière régulière autour dudit axe A, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte au moins un motif (36), appliqué sur au moins une partie de la paroi (26) du moyeu (24), qui est configuré pour se déformer en cas d'apparition de crique ou fissure (38) se propageant sur ladite paroi (26) de moyeu (24) dans ledit motif (36).
