Abstract

L'invention porte sur un système de lubrification (3) du moteur thermique (2) d'un véhicule automobile (1), ledit système de lubrification (3) comprenant un réservoir (31) de fluide de lubrification, une pompe hydraulique (32) de circulation du fluide de lubrification adaptée pour être entraînée par une chaîne (4) montée, au moins en partie, dans le réservoir (31) de fluide de lubrification, et un capot (33) de protection de ladite chaîne (4) dans ledit réservoir (31), ledit capot de protection (33) comprenant une cavité de passage de la chaîne (4), ladite cavité étant adaptée pour être, au moins partiellement, remplie de fluide de lubrification pour lubrifier la chaîne (4) d'entraînement de la pompe hydraulique (32), ledit capot de protection (33) comprenant un orifice (34) d'entrée de fluide de lubrification connecté fluidiquement audit réservoir (31) pour permettre le remplissage du capot de protection (33).
