L’emballage est pourvu d’un opercule collé sur l’ouverture et détachable par arrachement. Cet opercule assure la fermeture de l’emballage tout en permettant la vision du contenu de celui-ci. L’un des inconvénients de tels emballages réside dans leur encombrement en configuration de présentation. En d’autres termes, ils reposent à plat sur un support pour permettre la vision par le consommateur. Une telle disposition induit également une surface du support importante. Pour pallier à cet inconvénient, il est connu d’empiler les emballages les uns sur les autres. Si cela permet la visualisation successive des emballages au fur et à mesure que celui en partie haute est pris, cette disposition génère l’écrasement mutuel des boites, d’où un risque de dégradation de l’emballage et/ou du fromage qu’il contient. Pour remédier à cela, on connaît par FR-A-2 772 353 une boite circulaire à couvercle, de type boite à camembert, que l’on équipe d’une patte maintenue par coincement entre le fond et le couvercle. Le maintien est réalisé par l’insertion des bords du couvercle et du fond dans des fentes parallèles ménagées dans la patte. En position celle-ci est parallèle à la tranche de la boite. Par pivotement, on met la boite en position verticale, sur sa tranche. La patte forme alors un pied d’appui maintenant verticale la boite. Une telle solution n’est pas aisée à mettre en œuvre et ne trouve son application qu’avec des boites à fond et couvercle indépendants. Elle est par ailleurs adaptée aux boites circulaires. C’est à ces inconvénients qu’entend plus particulièrement remédier l’invention en proposant une boîte de présentation facile à mettre en position verticale de présentation et non limitée à une forme donnée de fromage, tout en étant d’un encombrement réduit. A cet effet, l’invention a pour objet une boîte d’emballage et de présentation sur un support d’un produit, ladite boite comportant un fond et des parois latérales définissant au moins un volume de réception d’au moins une portion ou tranche d’un produit de forme complémentaire à celle dudit volume, la boite étant obturée avant une première ouverture par un organe d’obturation amovible, caractérisée en ce que la boite comprend au moins un premier organe de maintien s’étendant perpendiculairement à partir du fond de la boite vers l’extérieur de celle-ci et un second organe de maintien, adjacent à l’ouverture de la boite et s’étendant parallèlement au fond de la boite vers l’extérieur de celle-ci, les premier et second organes définissant ensemble un pied de maintien de la boite dans une configuration dite de présentation où le fond de la boite ne repose pas sur un support lorsque la boite est posée dessus.In order to visually judge the quality of the product, the known packages have at least one transparent face, namely that corresponding to the lid or lid of the package.
