Procédé (200) de commande de vitesse d'un véhicule automobile comprenant les étapes suivantes consistant à : - saisir (205) la vitesse prédéfinie par le conducteur, - saisir (225) la vitesse maximale autorisée (320) dans la région du véhicule , - commander (260) la vitesse du véhicule selon la vitesse prédéfinie, et - émettre (240) en avertissement si la vitesse prédéfinie est supérieure à la vitesse maximale autorisée.
