Abstract

PLATEAU DE JEU La présente invention concerne un plateau de jeu et plus particulièrement un plateau de jeu constitué d'une matrice de pions dont certains sont, au cours d'une partie, aptes à être éliminés de la surface de jeu. On connaît ainsi divers jeux de société qui utilisent des pions qui sont mobiles sur un plateau support et qui peuvent être déplacés par le ou les joueurs en fonction d'une règle de jeu spécifique. Dans certains de ces jeux, il est parfois nécessaire d'éliminer certains des pions de la surface du plateau de jeu. Une telle élimination peut s'effectuer simplement par le retrait pur et simple du pion par les doigts de l'utilisateur, ou par un escamotage de celui-ci. Dans les systèmes de jeux de société qui font appel à un retrait de pions tels que, notamment le jeu de dames ou le jeu d'échecs, ce retrait est effectué par le joueur qui prend en main les pions ou la pièce concernée et qui la retire du jeu. La présente invention se propose d'améliorer la convivialité de tels jeux en évitant aux joueurs d'avoir à retirer manuellement les pions, et a ainsi pour but de proposer un mécanisme permettant d'escamoter des pions d'une surface de jeu par une simple pression exercée par le joueur sur le pion qu'il désire éliminer. La présente invention a ainsi pour objet un plateau de jeu constitué d'une structure support comprenant des moyens de maintien dans un plan d'une matrice de pions de jeu caractérisé en ce que ces moyens de maintien sont aptes, lorsqu'une pression est exercée sur un pion dans une direction sensiblement perpendiculaire au plan de la structure support, à évacuer ce pion vers le fond de cette dernière. La matrice de pions pourra être formée de plusieurs barrettes qui seront disposées côte à côte suivant les colonnes de la matrice de pions. Ces barrettes pourront être pourvues de moyens aptes à les solidariser de la structure. Suivant l'invention les moyens de maintien des pions pourront être constitués de protubérances, fixes par rapport à la structure, qui seront déformables de façon à libérer les pions sous l'effet d'un effort exercé sur ces derniers. Dans une autre forme de mise en oeuvre de l'invention les barrettes pourront comporter un réceptacle ouvert à leur partie supérieure et posséder un fond constitué d'une feuille souple déformable. Cette dernière pourra comporter, au droit de chaque pion, une découpe apte à laisser passer le pion lorsque l'on exerce sur celui-ci une pression sensiblement perpendiculaire au plan de la structure. Ainsi la feuille souple déformable pourra être fendue sensiblement en son milieu sur toute la longueur de la barrette. Elle pourra également comporter une découpe sensiblement de la forme de la section droite du pion, et qui aura des dimensions légèrement inférieures à celle-ci. La feuille souple pourra comporter au moins une fente dont la longueur sera voisine de l'une des dimensions du pion. Par ailleurs la structure support pourra être telle que, au droit de chaque pion de la matrice de pions, elle comporte au-dessus de celui-ci un orifice d'accès.
