Abstract
Description
-1- -1-
-2- The present invention relates to a flexible light signaling device, lightweight, informative, sedentary or ambulatory, as a landing zone dedicated to aviation and more specifically helicopters. The reporting of landing strips is traditionally made of white stripes juxtailed with a lighting system with bulbs or LEDs. In the context of military operations or civil security on a temporary transit territory, the maneuvering areas are defined by an imposing device, long to install and heavy to transport. These logistical constraints inherent in the current equipment make it difficult to use, for example in the theater of a road accident, or impossible in a hostile environment. In the case of night berth in the event of avionics damage, the direct visible markers are limited and the approach data can be set by radio, which reduces the speed of reaction of the pilot. It is the same for any civil or military flight, in case of radio failure no visible instruction can be transmitted to the pilots. The device according to the invention overcomes these disadvantages. According to i5, it comprises a first characteristic, an electroluminescent film integrated in a printed medium, according to the needs of flexible or rigid, and connected to an external unit in order to supply the power supply and thus to program the ignition zones; thus any soil can become in a few moments, a zone of aeronautical activity with signaling easily visible from the sky in the absolute black or the fog. According to particular embodiments: One or more electroluminescent film (s) applied (s) on a flexible printed support devolved to an ambulatory use, or integrated (s) the coating of the track for constant use. A wiring connecting the film or films and the control / power unit. A control / power unit which can be a simple stack or a computer-based management program. - Remote control devices by a third party or from the cockpit, or various measuring tools. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 shows a sagittal section of an assembly of the various components of an ambulatory helicopter landing zone. The support is voluntarily enlarged in order to bring more clarity to the diagram. Figure 2 illustrates the ambulatory landing device for rotary wing, seen from the sky. FIG. 3 schematizes the application of the electroluminescent marking strips for the landing and taxi runways of the airports. FIG. 4 represents 2 examples of electroluminescent marking applications in a nautical environment. Figure 5 illustrates the prototype helicopter ambulatory landing zone, printed in a military camouflage theme. -2-
With reference to these drawings, the device of the figure and comprises one or more electroluminescent sheets (1) between an impervious and transparent protective layer (2) on the one hand, and on the other hand a flexible and resistant fabric (3) type cook, \ tarpaulin etc. The different layers are held together by heat-sealing, the support use bindings (5) specific to the nature of the soil. We can evoke tent T for use on lawn. The power supply of the electroluminente part is carried out by a low-voltage cable (4) included in the device. The arrangement of different electroluminescent sheets and the printed patterns form the signaling of the landing zone. The marking may be assembled to form one or more information display modules. FIG. 2 illustrates a landing zone (6) of 2 meters for a helicopter coupled to a feeding unit (7). This unit can be as a non-limiting example a battery, a solar cell, DC, a computer. Once energized, the various constituent forms illuminate. The use of a computer allows the addition of additional signage such as an alphanumeric display, an altimeter, an anemometer, etc.
The Sky View of an Airport Figure 3 summarizes the function of electroluminescent marking of runways. The control tower has the ability to communicate data through the alphanumeric display "on the ground" (A) and direct a flight via "a corridor of light" (8). The ease of inclusion on the ground, the extreme thinness of the marking (a few millimeters) and the impermeability of the lighting allow an application at sea as postulated in Figure 4.
