Abstract

The device has a gear shifting pallet (12) to be actuated behind a steering wheel. "DISPOSITIF DE COMMANDE DE CHANGEMENT DE VITESSES AU VOLANT DE DIRECTION D'UN VEHICULE AUTOMOBILE" "CHANGING DEVICE FOR CHANGING SPEEDS AT THE STEERING WHEEL OF A MOTOR VEHICLE"

La présente invention est relative à un dispositif 5 de commande de changement de vitesses au volant de direction d'un véhicule automobile. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne un dispositif de commande de changement de vitesses au volant de direction d'un véhicule automobile, comprenant 10 au moins une palette de changement de vitesses apte à être actionnée à la main derrière le volant, un corps de support de la palette qui supporte à pivotement la palette et qui comporte des moyens de fixation du corps de support à un boîtier monté coaxial à la colonne de 15 direction du véhicule. Ce genre de dispositif est connu du document US7845457. Il est important que le corps de support de la palette puisse être fixé aisément, rapidement et de manière fiable relativement au boîtier monté coaxial à la 20 colonne de direction du véhicule. La présente invention a notamment pour but de proposer un dispositif de commande de changement de vitesses au volant qui soit de conception permettant un bonne intégration relativement à la colonne de direction 25 et à son volant. A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un dispositif de commande de changement de vitesses au volant de direction d'un véhicule automobile, comprenant au moins une palette de changement de vitesses apte à être 30 actionnée à la main derrière le volant, un corps de support de la palette qui supporte à pivotement la palette et qui comporte des moyens de fixation du corps de support à un boîtier monté coaxial à la colonne de direction du véhicule. Les moyens de fixation comportent 35 un pied de support solidaire du corps de support de la palette et un actionneur qui est fixé au boîtier et qui comprend au moins un coulisseau d'ancrage pouvant occuper une position inactive rétractée et une position déployée d'ancrage dans le pied de support pour sa fixation au boîtier. Dans divers modes de réalisation du dispositif selon l'invention, on peut éventuellement avoir recours en outre à l'une et/ou à l'autre des dispositions suivantes . le pied de support comporte une cavité d'ancrage et le coulisseau d'ancrage comporte un pion d'extrémité libre qui est engagé dans la cavité d'ancrage à la position déployée du coulisseau ; l'actionneur comporte une crémaillère appartenant au coulisseau d'ancrage, un manchon de guidage de la crémaillère et un pignon qui est supporté par le manchon et qui est à engrènement avec la crémaillère ; le dispositif comporte deux corps de support qui supportent chacun une palette ; l'actionneur est commun aux deux corps et 20 comporte deux coulisseaux d'ancrage ; le pignon est à engrènement avec les crémaillères appartenant aux coulisseaux d'ancrage. Par ailleurs, l'invention a également pour objet un véhicule automobile comportant une colonne de direction 25 qui est solidaire d'un volant et qui porte un boîtier de dispositif de commande de changement de vitesses au volant. Dans ce véhicule, le dispositif de commande de changement de vitesses au volant est conforme à l'invention et a son actionneur qui est à sa position 30 déployée d'ancrage dans le pied de support de la palette en fixant le pied de support au boîtier.
