1 Tendelet escamotable et structure arrière de véhicule automobile associée 1 retractable strut and rear structure of an associated motor vehicle
The present invention relates to a retractable tendelet intended to be installed in a trunk of a motor vehicle, and a rear structure of a motor vehicle adapted to receive said tendelet. Known motor vehicles have rear structures including a boot, a rear seat, and a retractable canopy including an apron to be extended above the boot at the rear of the seat. The tendelet is intended to cover the loading space of the trunk of motor vehicles, especially for extended vehicles, so as to preserve the external view of the contents of this loading space. Document DE 102 60 034 A1 discloses such a rear structure of a motor vehicle, comprising a trunk and a retractable roof. The trunk has a bottom wall and a floor wall superimposed at a distance from the bottom wall to form a free space between the two walls, while the retractable tendelet comprises him, an apron and side guide rails of the deck. The slideways are fitted on a frame, facing each other and have respectively a first part which extends in the free space between the bottom wall and the floor wall, a second part substantially perpendicular to the first and extends vertically through the cargo space of the trunk and a third portion back, substantially parallel to the first portion above the cargo space. The apron has two lateral edges respectively engaged in the opposite slides and it is capable of being driven longitudinally in translation, between an active position of overlap where it extends between the third parts in return of the rails facing and a retracted position where it extends between the first portions 30 of the slides. Known vehicles of another type include folding rear seats to extend the cargo space of the trunk of these vehicles. The implementation of a retractable tendelet in this type of vehicle causes a discontinuity between the trunk and the extended part when the seat is folded, and the extended trunk is less spacious. Also, a problem that arises and that aims to solve the present invention is to provide a retractable tendelet that can be installed in a vehicle with a foldable seat and that allows to obtain an extended chest more spacious and easier to implement . For this purpose, and according to a first object, the present invention provides a retractable tendelet for installation in a motor vehicle trunk; said rear trunk having a bottom wall and a floor wall superimposed away from said bottom wall to provide a free space between said bottom wall and said floor wall; said retractable tendon comprising an apron capable of defining an apron plane and a pair of lateral guides for guiding said apron, said lateral guiding rails being able to be installed above said floor wall and to extend to in said free space for guiding said apron in longitudinal sliding between an occultation position of said trunk in which said apron is extended above said floor wall and a retracted position in which said apron is housed inside said free space between said bottom wall and said floor wall; according to the invention, said apron is equipped with support wedges which project from said deck plane, whereas said floor wall is able to be mounted movably relative to said bottom wall between a close position of said bottom wall and a position spaced from said bottom wall; and said support wedges are interposed between said floor wall and said bottom wall when said deck is in said retracted position, so as to maintain said floor wall spaced from said bottom wall. Thus, a feature of the invention lies in the implementation of support wedges on the apron of the tendelet, so as to be able to interpose the support wedges between the floor wall and the bottom wall, when the apron is 30 retracted below the floor wall, to maintain the floor wall spaced from the bottom wall and at the folded bench. In this way, the floor wall can form with the folded bench a same continuous plane. The mode of cooperation of the floor wall and the folded bench will be explained in more detail below when the apron of the tendelet is retracted. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, said support wedges are spaced from each other in a direction transverse to said apron. In this way, when the apron of the tendelet and in a retracted position, the floor wall is kept away from the bottom wall of the trunk across its width in an equivalent manner. It thus offers a better resistance to the weight of the elements stored in the trunk loading space. Furthermore, said apron comprises a front edge opposite to a rear edge and it advantageously comprises a traction flap mounted articulated on said front edge. The traction flap extends transversely from one lateral slide to the other and is advantageously rigid. As will be explained in the following description, it not only allows to drive the deck in translation but also to discover a trunk portion to access. Preferably, said support wedges are installed on said traction flap. Fixing the support wedges on the bib when it is rigid, is easier. In addition, the movement of the support wedges is also better controlled when the apron is retracted. According to a feature of the invention that is particularly advantageous, said lateral guiding rails are formed in a U-shape, and they respectively have an occulting branch capable of extending above said floor wall, a retraction branch substantially parallel to said occultation branch and able to extend into said free space and a bottom portion 25 to join said branches. In this way, the apron which extends entirely between the two concave branches so as to completely cover the trunk, is adapted to be driven in translation to slide between the two bottom portions of the rails. In a first sliding phase, the deck is divided into two portions inclined with respect to each other, a first substantially horizontal portion between the concealment branches whose width in the longitudinal direction decreases progressively as the apron is driven in translation and a substantially vertical portion between the bottom portions of the slides and whose width, taken in the longitudinal direction increases simultaneously. It is understood that between the concave branches and the bottom portions of the lateral rails, a bend is formed with a radius of curvature sufficient to allow the sliding of the deck. In a second sliding phase, where the deck which extends entirely between the bottom portions, is driven between the retraction branches and between the two walls, the deck is again divided into two portions inclined relative to one another. to the other, a new first substantially vertical portion which extends between the two bottom portions of the slides and a new horizontal portion which extends between the branches of retraction. The width of the new first portion in the longitudinal direction decreases as the width of the new horizontal portion increases as the deck is driven. At the end of the race, the apron is thus upside down, opposite to the position it occupied between the two occultation branches, while the support wedges extend between the bottom wall and the floor of the trunk floor. In addition, said apron comprises a plurality of parallel blades hinged to each other. In this way, when the apron is slidably driven between the branches and the bottom portions of the lateral guide rails, the blades pivot relative to each other to move from the branches 20 to the portions and vice versa. In addition, said support wedges are of rectangular parallelepiped shape. In this way, support shims are obtained which are resistant to the weight of the loads. According to a second object, the present invention proposes a rear structure of a motor vehicle comprising a trunk opening towards the rear of said structure and a folding rear seat installed towards the front of said structure, said rear trunk having a delimited bottom wall. by a rear edge located rearwardly of said structure and an opposite front edge located forwardly of said structure, while said seat has a backrest along said front edge, said backrest being foldable forwardly between a position active substantially perpendicular to said bottom wall and an inactive position substantially parallel to said bottom wall in which said backrest is raised relative to said bottom wall; according to the invention, the structure further comprises a floor wall superimposed at a distance from said bottom wall, said floor wall being movably mounted relative to said bottom wall between a position close to said bottom wall and a remote position said bottom wall in which said floor wall and said folding backrest are extended substantially in the same plane; and said rear structure comprises a retractable tendelet according to the aforementioned characteristics, so as to maintain said floor wall spaced from said bottom wall when said apron of said tendelet is in said retracted position. In this way, when the rear bench folded, we get an extended chest io more spacious and easier to implement. Also, the folding backrest and the boot floor wall being adjusted substantially in the same plane, the loading box can be loaded with heavy elements on the floor wall to then be driven in translation along the floor wall. continuing on the folder is folded. Advantageously, said floor wall is pivotally mounted along said rear edge of said bottom wall. The floor wall having a rear edge parallel to a leading edge is then pivotable about its rear edge fitted along the rear edge of the bottom wall, so that the leading edge extends substantially parallel at the front edge of the bottom wall and therefore, the folder folded. Thus, the floor wall is adapted to form a transverse continuity with the folded back. In addition, said lateral guides for guiding said tendelet are able to be installed above said floor wall and to advantageously extend forwardly of said structure into said free space. In this way, and as will be explained hereinafter in more detail, the apron is adapted to be driven in longitudinal sliding, from its hidden position of the trunk where it is extended above the wall 30, forward, then to be driven vertically to the bottom wall of the trunk and between the floor wall and the bottom wall, where the support blocks are interposed between the bottom wall and the wall floor.

Figure 1 partially illustrates a rear structure of a motor vehicle 10, comprising a rear trunk 12 having an opening 13 opening towards the rear of the vehicle and able to be closed by a not shown tailgate. The rear structure 10 has, opposite the opening 13 and forwards, a foldable seat 14, while between the two, the rear trunk 12 has a bottom wall 15. Between the opening 13 12 and the foldable bench 14, is extended, above the rear trunk 12, a tendelet 16. The tendelet 16 has two lateral guiding guide rails 18, 20 and an apron 22 which extends in the FIG. 1, laterally of a slideway 18 to the other slideway 20 and longitudinally of the opening 13 to the foldable seat 14 30 in a concealment position of the trunk 12. The apron 22 consists of parallel blades 23 articulated to each other. other. The lateral guiding slides 18, 20 are formed in a U-shaped section to slidably receive lateral edges of the apron 22, and they are also bent to form a U. The following will explain the sliding mode of the apron 22 thanks to The apron 22 further comprises a front edge 24 opposite to a rear edge 26. On the front edge 24 is hingedly mounted a folding flap 28. The folding flap 28 is shown in FIG. 1 in two distinct positions, a first normal position of implementation, extended in the extension of the deck 22 and a folded position on the deck 22 to partially access the rear trunk 12. The folding flap 28 extends transversely over any the width of the apron 22 and it has a central opening 30 for grasping by hand. When extended in the folded position on the deck 22, it is observed that it has support shims 32, at each end and in the center at the central opening 30, along the front edge 44 of the apron 22. These bearing blocks 32, integral with the folding flap 28, extend projecting, and 15 when the folding flap 28 is extended in the extension of the apron 22, they extend with respect to the rear trunk 12 In the figures, three support shims 32 are represented. However, an embodiment with more than three support shims and another embodiment with a transverse support profile is provided. According to yet another embodiment, it is intended to install shims directly on the apron. As for the folding bench 14, it has a seat 34 and a backrest 36. As will be explained below, the seat 34 is intended to be tilted forwards, before being able to tilt the backrest 36 to his turn forward and against the seat 34 rocked. The backrest 36 as shown in FIG. 1 has a rear wall 38 which delimits substantially vertically, the trunk 12 towards the front of the rear structure 10. With regard to the U-shaped guide side rails 18, 20, they present respectively an upper leg 40 which extends substantially horizontally above the trunk 12 and the opposite, a lower arm 42 30 which extends at the bottom wall 15 of the rear trunk 12. The lower branches 42 and upper 40 are connected together in a continuous manner by a bottom portion 44 which extends substantially vertically along the rear wall 38 of backrest 36. The bottom portion 44 is connected to the lower and upper branches 42 and 40 respectively by a lower elbow 46 and an upper elbow 48 whose radii of curvature are large enough to allow the passage of the apron 22 as will be explained below. The guide lateral guides 18, 20, are held facing each other and in a fixed position symmetrically with respect to a median vertical plane intersecting said rear structure 10 of the motor vehicle, so as to trap the apron 22. by its two opposite lateral edges respectively engaged in the U-shaped groove of the slides 18, 20. Thus, in FIG. 2, in a side view, the rear structure of a motor vehicle 10 represented in FIG. 1, and in particular the lateral guiding slides 18, 20, the first occulting the second in Figure 2 and the apron 22 extended above the rear trunk 12 which is also obscured by the first guide lateral slide 18. The lower limb is found 42 and 40 upper side guide rails 18, 20 and their bottom portion 44 extended against the rear wall 38 of the backrest 36. The flap flap 28 equipped with its support shims 32 is also presented in its two positions, extended in the extension of the apron 22 and folded against the deck 22. In the first position the support shim 32 is oriented towards the bottom wall 15 , while in the second position, the support block 32 is oriented opposite the bottom wall 15. There is also the opening of the trunk 13. In contrast, Figure 2 further illustrates, a part of a transverse trunk rim 50 raised relative to a rear edge 51 of the bottom wall 15 bordering the opening 13 and the opposite, a front border 53 trunk along said folder 36, and secondly a floor wall 52 having a trailing edge 54 opposite a front edge 56. The trailing edge 54 of the floor wall 52 bears on the rim 50 so that the floor wall 52 extends facing and at a distance of the bottom wall 15. It extends transversely and longitudinally It is further movable in a pivoting manner about its rear edge 54. In FIG. 2 it is kept close to the bottom wall 15, nevertheless forming a free space 58 between the bottom wall 15 and the floor wall 52. The lower branches 42 of the lateral guiding slides 18, 20 then laterally border this free space 58. Reference will now be made to FIGS. 3 and 4, to describe the tendelet 16 whose apron 22 is in an open position so as to freely access the rear trunk 12. From the obscuration position of the deck 22 shown in phantom in Figure 3, and in which the folding flap 28 extends in the extension of the deck 22, the latter is driven in translation towards the backrest 36 and forwardly along the arrow F through the central opening 30 forming a handle. The apron 22 then guided in the lateral guide rails 18, 20 is driven between the bottom portions 44 of the lateral guiding rails 18, 20, along the rear wall 38 of the backrest 36. The blades 23 which in the portions rectilinear facing the side guide rails 18, 20 extend in the same plane, pivot successively relative to each other when they cross the upper elbow 48. We find in Figure 4 the deck 22 in such a position opening. Referring now to Figures 5 and 6 illustrating an advantageous feature of the invention. From the open position of the apron 22 as illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4, and after the seat 34 and the backrest 36 have been successively tilted, the translation drive of the latter is continued from such that it is driven between the lower branches 42 of the lateral guide rails 18, 20 and within the free space 58 between the floor wall 52 and the bottom wall 15 in a retracted position. To do this, the floor wall 52 has been pivotally driven about its rear edge 54 so as to be spaced from the bottom wall 15 to allow the passage of the support blocks 32 within the space. free 58 when the apron 22 has been slidably driven within this space 58 between the lower legs 42. Then, the floor wall 52 has been released so that its front edge along its front edge 56, come to bear on the 30 bearing blocks 32 which themselves opposite, through the folding flap 28, bear against the bottom wall 15 of the trunk 12. First, it will be observed that in this position, the apron 22 and its foldable flap 28 are one in a position returned by 180 ° relative to that they have in the occultation position, the folding flap 28 extending in the extension of the apron 22. In addition, and especially the front edge 56 of the floor 52 is raised to the level of the rear wall 38 of the backrest 36 and is held in this position thanks to the bearing blocks 32. Referring to FIG. the floor wall 52 whose front edge 56 is fitted at the level of the rear wall 38 of the backrest 36 folded down so that the floor wall 52 and the rear wall 38 define the same substantially horizontal plane P for extending the This trunk is extended continuously on the rear wall 38 of the backrest 36. Thus, thanks to the tendelet according to the invention, not only the apron 22 is easily retractable, but moreover thanks to the support blocks 32 it also makes it possible to keep the floor wall 52 away from the bottom wall 15, more precisely towards the folded backrest 36, so as to constitute a continuous surface with the wall posterior 38.
