Abstract

The arrangement has a locking unit i.e. lock, located between an exterior panel (14) and an interior lining element (30) of a boot lid. A protection device i.e. bonnet (32), protects the arrangement against intrusions caused from an opening (28) that is formed in the panel of the boot lid, where the opening in the panel of the boot lid is an opening for receiving a number plate light. A wall (34) of the device is significantly perpendicular to a plane of the boot lid. The wall partially surrounds the locking unit in a manner that the locking unit is inaccessible from the opening.

La pièce d'habillage 16 est destinée à cacher des parties dudit panneau extérieur 14, ou bien des pièces portées par ledit panneau 14 mais forme également un support pour le montage -3- de pièces du véhicule. Cependant, selon l'architecture du véhicule, la pièce d'habillage 16 peut être supprimée. Une zone 20, située sous la pièce d'habillage 16, est destinée à recevoir une plaque de police (non représentée) éclairée par des moyens d'éclairage 22 localisés entre la pièce d'habillage 16 et la zone 20. Tel que représenté à la figure 2, les moyen d'éclairage de plaque 22 sont situés sous la serrure 18, dans une partie inférieure 24 de la pièce d'habillage 16. Ainsi les moyens d'éclairage 22 sont reçus dans des ouvertures 26 ménagées dans la partie inférieure 24 de la pièce d'habillage 16 et dans des ouvertures 28 io (visibles à la figure 3) ménagées dans le panneau extérieur 14. Dans un mode de réalisation non représenté de l'invention, le capot 32 peut être une pièce rapportée par collage ou par vissage, par exemple, sur l'élément de garniture 30. Selon un deuxième mode de réalisation, représenté à la figure 4, le capot 32 io est solidaire de l'élément de garniture 30 et moulé d'une pièce avec ledit élément de garniture 30.
