Description

i Sièqe à modularité améliorée i Enhanced modularity seat

[1] The invention relates to an improved seat in modularity and in particular such a seat for a motor vehicle. [2] From the point of view of consumers, it has become important even for a small vehicle to have good modularity but also a good comfort. Indeed, generally in a small vehicle, it is provided only a fixed bow for one to three people that allows no modularity. [3] The object of the present invention is to overcome all or part of the disadvantages mentioned above by providing a seat of simple constitution that improves the modularity. [4] For this purpose, the invention relates to a seat comprising a seat, a backrest of which a portion is movable to rotate to form an armrest characterized in that the seat comprises a movable portion between a retracted position and an extended position and the back of which is intended to extend said armrest so as to provide a larger, substantially planar surface. This makes it possible to separate the seat into two distinct parts, in particular to improve comfort. [5] According to other advantageous features of the invention: - the movable portion of the seat is rotatably mounted relative to an axis integral with the structure of said seat to obtain a simple and robust movement; the axis of rotation is situated at the front of the upper part of said movable portion of the seat in order to move it forward and at a height; - The back of the movable portion of the seat comprises a resident equipment or a receiving base for a non-resident equipment, this may concern, for example, a multimedia connectivity or a dedicated storage - the movable portion of the seat comprises, at the front of the lower portion, a shoulder for receiving a portion of the movable portion of the backrest to make said portions integral, which also makes it possible to visually monoblock all of the two portions. [6] The invention also relates to an automobile vehicle having a rear seat characterized in that said seat comprises at least one seat according to one of the preceding variants. [7] According to other advantageous features of the invention: - said movable portion of the seat comprises a limiting limit deployment in the passenger compartment of said vehicle; - the limit stop is the center console of the vehicle. [8] Other features and advantages will become clear from the description which is given below, by way of indication and in no way limiting, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: - Figure 1 is a schematic section of a seat in its retracted position; Figure 2 is a schematic section of a seat in its partially deployed position; - Figure 3 is a schematic section of a seat in its fully deployed position; FIG. 4 is a perspective view of FIG. 3. [9] As illustrated in FIG. 1, one can see a section of a motor vehicle interior generally annotated 1. The passenger compartment 1 comprises a rear seat 3 comprising at least one seat 5, 7, a central console 9 located between the two front seats (not shown). The rear seat 3 is intended to be installed as a second seat in a small vehicle. It allows to go from a configuration two separate and comfortable seats to a three-seater configuration not distinct and less comfortable, that is to say with an additional place that is intended to be temporary. Preferably, the rear seat 3 is of the type with two seats 5 and 7 folding and relative length 1/3 - 2/3 compared to the total length. [10] The seat 5 comprises a seat 11 and a backrest 13. The backrest 13 comprises in its padding a movable portion 15 and at least one headrest 17. The movable portion 15 is rotatably mounted along a substantially horizontal axis between a retracted position, as shown in Figure 1, wherein its recto 19 is flush with the rest of the backrest 13 and an extended position, as shown in Figure 3, wherein its back 21 provides a clean surface to serve as an armrest. [1 1] The seat 11 comprises in its quilting a movable portion 23. The movable portion 23 is mounted on the structure of the seat 11 via a frame 25 of substantially U-shaped section 20 and extending over the entire depth of the seat. The movable portion 23 is rotatably mounted relative to the frame 25 along a substantially horizontal axis 27 between a retracted position, as shown in FIG. 1, in which its front surface 29 is flush with the rest of the seat 11 and an extended position 25, as illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, in which its back 31 offers a clean surface extending that 21 of the portion 15 in the armrest position (FIG. 3) towards the central console 9 in order to provide a continuous surface between the backrest 13 and the central console 9. [12] In order to improve the homogeneity of appearance, the front 33 and rear 35 faces of the portion 23 preferably comprise shapes complementary respectively to that of the back of the 9 and the front end 37 of the portion 15. This is made possible, for example, by the formation of a shoulder 39 on the bottom of the front face 33 to accommodate, partially covering , the end 37 d e portion 15. Also, preferably, the upper surface of the central console 9, the back 31 of the portion 23 and the back 21 of the portion 15 are identical or similar material aspect. [13] Preferably, the axis 27 is situated on the front of the upper part of the portion 23 in the retracted position (FIG. 1) in order respectively to move the portion 23 forward while raising it between the retracted position ( Figure 1) and the deployed position (Figures 2 and 3). [14] The actuation of the seat 5 will now be explained in connection with Figures 1 to 4. In the example illustrated in Figure 1, we can see the bucket 3 in a section in a conventional configuration, it is that is, a substantially horizontal seat 11 and a substantially vertical backrest 13. This configuration can accommodate three passengers. [15] When only two passengers are on the rear seat 3, a first known way to improve comfort is to move the portion 15 so that its back 20 is used as an armrest. Advantageously according to the invention, it is possible to improve this comfort and to propose at least one equipment or a pre-equipment to the two passengers. [16] This is made possible by the actuation, in a first step of the portion 23 of the seat 11 of the seat 5. In order to facilitate its handling, a gripping means, such as a strap or a recess, can The portion 23 then pivots relative to the axis 37 until it abuts against the rear of the central console 9 30 as shown in Figure 2. In this position , the back 31 is apparent and may contain storage cup-type or drawers and / or receiving pedestals for, for example, multimedia equipment to improve the comfort of the bench 3. [17] In a second time, it is sufficient to actuate the portion 15 of the backrest 13 of the seat 5. To facilitate its handling a gripping means, such as a strap or a recess, may be provided projecting from its front end 37. The portion 15 then pivots until it stops against the shoulder 39 of the front face 33 d e portion 23 as illustrated in Figures 3 and 4. It is then seen that the central console top assembly 9 to 31 verso 21 forms a substantially continuous surface. [18] It is therefore understood from the above reading that the invention allows the use of a simple system is to increase the number of passengers or to increase the comfort of passengers. Of course, the present invention is not limited to the example shown but is susceptible of various variations and modifications which will be apparent to those skilled in the art. In particular, the back 21 of the portion 15 can give directly behind the seat 3, that is to say for example in the trunk in the retracted position. This means that in the deployed position, the continuity of the central console assembly 20 9 to 21 31 verso 21 gives directly into the trunk. Similarly, a locking device may be provided in order to block at least the retracted position of the portion 23 in order to firmly secure it to the seat 11 of the seat 5 in order to keep the modularity maneuvers 1/3 - 2/3 conventional of The seat 23 may also be provided that the deployment limit stop of the portion 23 is not the center console 9 but part of one of the front seats which may or may not be folded down.
