Abstract

The head has a lubricating oil circuit including a lubricating oil slowing down passage (1) for slowing down flow of the oil towards a cylinder-case that is associated to the head in an internal combustion engine e.g. oil engine. The passage has an inner wall part (7) that is arranged in thermal transferring relation with a hot spot (5) of the head. The passage has a screen forming unit i.e. tube (8), for avoiding streaming of the oil on the part (7), where the unit is made of low thermal conductivity material.
