Abstract

The device has a spring lock automatically engaged in contact with a strike plate (5) when a door is pushed for closing or for blocking the door in an open position. The lock has a steel body (1) that receives a steel or brass latch or bolt (2) which slides into the lock body, and a helical spring (3) is guided on an intermediate diameter of the latch to push back the latch outside its guidance. A pull rod (4) fixed at an end of the latch permits to activate the latch for releasing the door.

Il tend à éjecter le pêne qui coulisse dans le corps du verrou. - une tirette (4) liée de façon complète avec le pêne (2) (par vissage, rivetage, soudure, collage etc.) permet d'actionner le pêne pour ouvrir la porte, elle sert également de butée pour empêcher le pêne de sortir de son logement sous l'action du ressort (3) lorsque la porte est ouverte. L'oblong est positionné verticalement sur l'huisserie ou la cloison pour compenser les variations de hauteur de la porte, un chanfrein à l'avant de la platine facilite 10 la remontée du pêne lors de l'enclenchement. - Pour une porte battante (fig 1/3), la gâche (5) sera réalisée à partir d'un morceau d'acier laminé ayant un profil en U à congés dont l'une des ailes a été rabattue à la presse pour constituer la forme qui permettra la remontée du pêne lors de l'enclenchement avant qu'il ne retombe entre les ailes du U 15 sous l'action du ressort (3). Pour empêcher l'animal d'ouvrir la porte lorsqu'il est à l'intérieur du box, il faut lui rendre la tirette (4) inaccessible. - Si le verrou est à l'extérieur du box et si la porte est barreaudée ou si le verrou est placé en bas de la porte, la condition est satisfaite. 20 - Si la tirette peut être atteinte par le cheval, elle sera protégée par un élément (7) de type tôle pliée ou coulisse profilée à froid, rapporté sur le corps du verrou ou sur la porte. Cet élément peut également servir à immobiliser en rotation le pêne et sa tirette. Le corps du verrou (1) et la gâche (5) seront largement dimensionnés pour 25 résister aux efforts importants exercés par le cheval sur la porte dans le cas d'une porte battante, à titre indicatif, le corps du verrou mesurera 30x30x55 mm et le pêne aura un diamètre de 16 à 20 mm, le profil de la gâche sera tiré dans un U laminé de 15x30x15 longueur 30 mm. Ces deux éléments seront soudés par d'importants cordons sur le cadre de la 30 porte et sur l'huisserie s'ils sont métalliques, ou sur une platine robuste, boulonnée efficacement sur le panneau de la porte et sur le montant.
