Convertible sofa comprising - a fixed structure (3) comprising two armrests (11), and - a foldable structure (5) forming a seat and backrest structure in sofa and bed base configuration in a sleeping configuration, characterized in that the foldable structure (5) comprises three hinged panels (21, 22, 23), including a seat panel (21) at one end, a rear panel (22) at the other end, and an intermediate panel (23) forming backrest, - the intermediate panel (23) being articulated on the one hand on the seat panel (21) and on the other hand on the rear panel (22) along two parallel pivoting axes (Y), - the rear panel (22) being articulated on the rigid structure (5) along a pivot axis (Y) parallel to the first two, - the seat panel (21) being arranged to be displaced substantially horizontally in its plane (XY) during the passage from the couch configuration to the sleeping configuration, and - both aut wherein the panels (22, 23) are foldable and accordionally foldable between a folded backrest position in the sofa configuration, and a substantially horizontal unfolded position (XY) in the sleeping configuration. 2.
