Abstract

Ce corps (8) présente sur sa face extérieure d'une part un filetage (16) destiné à la fixation du corps (8) dans un taraudage correspondant d'un moteur (4) et d'autre part une zone de préhension (28), généralement de forme cylindrique à section hexagonale, permettant la préhension du corps (8) pour le vissage de la bougie de préchauffage (2) dans le taraudage correspondant.Le diamètre extérieur de la partie du corps comprise entre le filetage (16) et la zone de préhension (28) est sur toute sa hauteur d'un diamètre au moins égal au diamètre extérieur de la partie filetée (16).Application aux moteurs à combustion interne, notamment moteurs de type Diesel.
